These live workcells simulate real-world industrial environments, from high-speed pick-and-place operations to complex assembly and material handling tasks. This hands-on environment is crucial for developing and validating new automation concepts.
Here, our engineers rigorously test the integration of core components that drive modern automation. For example, our workcells prominently feature the NexBot Robotics 331-005 M12 Inductive Proximity Sensor (NXB-SNS-331-005). This robust sensor is essential for non-contact part detection, positioning, and cycle counting. Its IP67 rating ensures it performs reliably even in the demanding conditions we simulate, while its IO-Link protocol compatibility allows for the smart, data-rich communication that is foundational to Industry 4.0. The new center allows us to explore advanced applications for these sensors, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in object detection and system feedback.
